The Band of the RAF College
On Saturday 21st April, a special parade was held in Swansea to mark the centenary of the Royal Air Force. The RAF were awarded the Freedom of the City and after short ceremony outside St Mary's Church, The Band of the RAF College led over 400 RAF personnel, including members of The Queen's Colour Squadron and RAF St Athan and Air Cadets through the streets of Swansea to the Brangwyn Hall. A strong parade of Air Cadets from all over South Wales, totaling to nearly 200 then followed led by The Welsh Wing Band of 215 City of Swansea Air Cadets Corps of Drums.
